Balli Kaur Jaswal

Balli Kaur Jaswal made an international name for herself with her bestselling novel, Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows, which was picked up by Reese’s Book Club, headed by Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon, who called it “a mystery, a romance, a family drama … and yes, it’s spicy!” Balli’s previous novel, Sugarbread, was shortlisted for the 2016 Epigram Books Fiction Prize and the 2018 Singapore Literature Prize. She has another novel coming out, The Unlikely Adventures of the Shergill Sisters.
